releases annual Maritime Policy Statement calling for strong maritime forces

“History has proven that no nation has gained international prominence without having a strong maritime capability,” said J. Michael McGrath, National President of the Navy League. “As a maritime nation, the strength of our maritime forces is critical to our national security and economic prosperity. Our economy will be at risk if we cannot ensure freedom of navigation across the oceans.
