Establish a Scholarship

All Navy League Foundation Scholarships are endowed with a minimum donation of $50,000.00. Scholarships can be used to memorialize a loved one, or a group can pool their donations to create a scholarship. A Navy League Council can create a scholarship in the name of their council, or perhaps to honor and remember a council member who’s support of the council is worthy of remembrance.

The $50,000.00 endowment need not be paid at one time! You or your group can attain the $50,000.00 endowment spread over a five year period. The scholarship will not be awarded until the endowment is complete unless additional annual donations of $2,500 are made to facilitate immediate awarding.

Please note, this is your scholarship! If you desire you can stipulate to whom your scholarship may be awarded by residency requirement (awarded to children in a specific location) or limited to those children who will be enrolling is a specific academic area; Accounting, Finance, Education etc. Again, it’s YOUR scholarship, tell the NLF and we will administer the scholarship to your wishes.

Workplace Giving

Many companies match gifts made by current and retired employees, which will often double your gift to Navy League Foundation Scholarship Program. Please contact your company’s human resources office to facilitate this contribution.
